The Museum Store - For Kids

Don’t forget to stop by the Museum store for gifts and fun items for your favorite young people.

New items include train shaped white boards, wooden train puzzles and a variety of small hand sized seasonal toys. Check out the cute bags of candy rocks and small colorful circus trains.

If it’s an inexpensive toy chances are you can find it here. For $5 there are five-piece power train sets, large pull back train engines and new plush hand puppets. For under $3 there are wooden whistles and boxes of beads. For a dollar you can buy an 18-inch pencil with a train stamped on it and for 50 cents you can buy a store best seller: a colorful eraser in several train shapes - engines, cars, lanterns.

For fun quiet time activities, consider the new “Danville” coloring book which features many local current and historical sites of the area. Adults also find this coloring book interesting. There is the popular “Whispers from the First Californians” by local authors Michelle Lasagna and Gail Faber available on the store bookshelves. You can select one or more of the very popular "Little Engine" books for $3.50 each for a pleasurable reading experience for your child. Some families collect all of them for their favorite children.
